About Me
I was born and raised in the northern suburbs of Adelaide. In 2002 I moved to Queensland, and soon after was cast in a production of the rock musical Return for the Forbidden Planet. For the next 20 years, I appeared in dozens of musicals, short films, commercials, and on television. When Covid hit in 2020 acting work dried up for me, so I gave away everything I owned, with the exception of a few personal items including a camera previously used for self-tape auditions, and hit the road. Returning to Adelaide for the remainder of 2020, I found myself taking long drives with camera in hand, photographing everything from wildlife, and beaches to small country towns, little realising I was slowly being seduced by the art of photography. When the country began to open up again, I returned to Queensland, only to find my passion for acting had been replaced by a love of being behind the camera, and I began taking portraits of actor friends. I am now in love with bearing witness to the soul in others, holding space for that and capturing it with my lens, to produce soulful portraits that illuminate my subjects inner life.
